The factory site for the Parsons Corporation was originally located in Detroit, Michigan. When the company expanded, they moved to Traverse City, Michigan, where they became an important part of life in the community. John Parsons was very involved in his church, in music, in education, and in health in the area, contributing to the improvement of Traverse City as the company grew.
