Postcard, Mary Sinton Leitch to J. J. Lankes, November 21, 1947 (Ms2017-001)

Transcription

I can’t answer. My broken wrist is acting up.

I have to use my left hand and it won’t do what

I want it to.

Just want to thank you for your letter and to

say I hope you ddn’t spell Lincoln’s name over the

radio as you did in your not to me. It is

Macveagh.

Do you see in “Time” that it had been recommended

that Griswold be removed and all authority be

places in the hands of the one man eg. Lincoln?

Quite a triumph for him.

Yours

M
